Good Book Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Help, I ran dry on books to read.

I don’t like fiction, only factual. I do like autobiographies, but not TV or Sports personalities, I like 'normal' peoples’ autobiographies. I also like educational books especially to do with the mind.

The purpose of this thread is that people may recommend good books that I could read?

You could try 'catch me if you can' the autobiography by Frank W Abagnale. it's a fantastic true account of a con-artist and (thankfully!) nothing like the movie of the same name.

Peter Jackson's Biography was very interesting while William Goldman's Adventures in the Screen Trade is very good.

Have you ever read Schindler's Ark by Thomas Keneally? Or anything by Hans Fallada? Hans Fallada was a German writer who wrote fiction based on factual stories for the 1930's mostly, and Schindler's Ark is a true story and very interesting re social history...
