sheffgrow
New India Garden takeaway on chesterfield rd at woodseats, dirty , vile place. Not to be mixed up with New India Garden restaurant on Heeley Bottom, one of the posters was correct about one thing, Chicken Tamil with boiled rice and chappatis is to die for. apart from the fact that their hygiene leaves a lot to be desired see:http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/search.php?client_id=13&award_id=3&inspection_type=FH&southwest=&northeast=&loc=&name=new%20india%20garden&address=&postcode=&distance=0&search.x=0&search.y=0&gbt_id=&award_score=&award_range=gt&award_sort=DESC not to mention the lad that was murdered upstairs in the restaurant the other year and dumped at kettle bridge

I often look in passing and wonder who the hell would ever be insane enough to order a takeaway from there?

Where were you looking ... it looks more like you'd get curried cockroach and salmonella?

natjack
No, the one next to the boozer on Chesterfield Rd, opposite the railway bridge. But the quote I copied, we weren't talking about that one ... Bit strange that they both have the same name, when one is a right dirthole and the other seems to get good reviews ...

Expat owl
Got taken to the New India Garden at Heeley bottom by some mates. We ordered seven completely diufferent meals but when they came they looked identical. Waiter had to explain what was what and they were all crap !! Some of you on here obviously have no clue about good Indian food if you think this place is good !!
