mikeypidge
For anyone looking for a "new" watering hole in the Greystones area, look out for the "new" Greystones" pub opening in early November. Offering a full range of Thornbridge Beers, quality wines and spirits from Mitchells wines and a good selection of continental and American bottle beers. The "Backroom" will be the venue for music, comedy and arts events. The gig list is constantly being added to, so go to "mygreystones.co.uk" for the latest details. Stormy
I heard about this too. Owned by the Thornbridge crew (or so I hear), this is brilliant news for anyone in the area as im sure it will be a fantastic pub once its reopened. Sheffield is well and truely blessed with decent pubs now

gatoruby
Walked past today it's looking good. Hope the clientele of the past year or so don't return or it will flop we need a decent pub around here as we have lost The Prince as it is mainly a restaurant now. GOOD LUCK THE GREYSTONES !!! vicks1
This is good news. The old Highcliffe was full of a very undesirable crowd!

bl4ster
Popped in today, just for a swift pint - Wow what a change from the past Positives - Keen staff, clean and smart (decor and staff !!) Great ale Negatives - smell of new paint and staff learning how to pull pints, (both will wear off) not sure what the noise will be like when its full - hard surfaces and high ceilings were a bit harsh and noisy
