ukdavvy Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Hi I need to get a cab back to Sheff from Hathersage tonight. (The 272 runs at rubbish times later on). Its 9 miles door to door. ukdavvy Posted September 11, 2005 Author Share Posted September 11, 2005 I phoned 3 taxi companies and was quoted 9 to 11 quid for the trip back at 1030-ish at night. Sadly the company I booked with in the afternoon decided not to turn up at 1030 and the other 2 couldnt promise to get me back when I phoned at 11pm in desperation. thus I got the 11:15pm train to Sheffield and a black cab from the station to home. I hope this didn't cause you any trouble.
