Abbey Lane closed Sunday 6th June

Recommended Posts

Abbey Lane will be closed from Chesterfield Road at Woodseats to Abbeydale Road at the Beauchief Hotel on Sunday - I predict chaos.

Heads up for anyone traveling this way at the weekend.

That's a relatively short length compared with the OP. Have you got some inside info, Daven?

No inside info except boards at the side of Abbey Lane either side of Bocking Lane roundabout stating that the road will be closed except for access on Sunday 6th June.

Apologies if I have misinterpreted the signs but it appears to warn of road closure on that date.:?:

You've got the date right. Perhaps they've put signs on the part that isn't closing in order to especially confuse people.
