I am interested in family history and I wondered if there was anyone out there with similar interests. Looking for anyone researching the Revills, Hackets,Gillotts in Sheffield. Lingards in Sheffield and Eckington, Watkinson's in Sheffield.Any advice welcome as I have hit a brick wall with my Revills and Lingards. Thanks Everyone. The Gillotts i know two sets of them and the revell family to, maybe theres a connection. Mrs Revillle was of German origin, are we close.  UPDATE  Sorry mistake, i meant Mrs Lingard was of German Origin not Reville. I have emailed you. tara   10 #11 Posted June 29, 2004 last year i found some of mine on the census for the 1800s. is it 1881 or something. i also found a lot of records of my family on the http://www.familysearch.org/ try all the different search indexes on the left. this search site is run by the church of latter day saints, who are a charity that specialise in birth marriage and death records. but i have tried the 1901 census site and find it cant find anything at all. its a bit rubbish.
