It's not semantics, it's important. If we just made up our own meaning for every word we used then there wouldn't be much point in discussing anything, would there? I will say it again. British is not a race and you saying it is does not make it so.

 

And no they didn't want to get the 'British out because they weren't Irish'. If that was the case how do you account for the number of English people in both Sinn Fein and the IRA? They wanted to end British rule in Ireland which is not the same thing at all.

You've had your answer - Sinn Fein/IRA has never been a racist organisation. They never stated as their aim to rid their country of all but it's indigeonous population (unlike the BNP).

It's membership over the years has included members from many different faiths and cultures.

What faiths other than Catholic,what cultures other than Irish? As I said genuine question,I was of the oipnion that they were a purely Catholic Irish organisation (with a bit of American at times)

sinn fein are gangsters who are murderers, they wanted money and power and used bombs and guns to get it. they were bought off.

the bnp as far as i know has not set off a bomb or shot anyone. the uk has the most comprehensive anti racism laws in the world and yet have not been made illegal. why is that?
