no i dont ive asked why is it ok to be a member of a mass murdering party like sinn fein, but not a member of the bnp, if your a copper?

Sinn Fein is a political party which has killed no-one. Let's get that out of the way. If you want to talk about the IRA, then accept that you are not allowed to be a policeman and a member of the IRA.

 

Now to the BNP. A serving police officer is charged with upholding the law. The law of the UK whether you like it or not, makes racial discrimination illegal. Now nobody is saying that somebody can't have a view on something, that is everyone's right, but to be a member of a party that espouses racial discrimination can never be compatible with a duty to uphold the law which outlaws racial discrimination.

 

That is why you cannot be a member of the BNP and a serving police officer.

Why are you comparing BNP to a party that has nothing to do with political system of England? Why are you reluctant to discuss BNP policies?

david copeland was a member of the bnp and while he didn't put bombs under cars he did put them in other places

Sinn Fein ARE the IRA! All they've done is re-badge themselves as a political party rather than a paramilitary terrorist group.

You might as well say BNP = C-18 it has as much credence.

 

Has Sinn Fein got equivalents to Tony "the bomber" Lecomber?

 

He was sacked because of a falling out with Joe Owens and because of his attack upon Eddy Butler the Group Elections Officer, he remains active within the party even if he doesn't appear on their payroll.

 

Or there is Lambertus Niewhorf convicted of attempting to blow up a Catholic school. And at Red White and Blue this year the fact Roberto Fiore served time for his part in the Bologna train bombing (that killed 80 people) did nothing to prevent him from being invited. And that is without even going in to all their Loyalist paramilitary links.

 

Sinn Fein may have had links with the PIRA, the point is that unlike the BNP they have played a part in bringing an end to the Troubles. The BNP on the other hand have done nothing to prevent any troubles, they are a cause and instigators of trouble.

Now for the bmp. To take them on and win we need to ask why so many support them.

To dismiss them as racists wont work.
