Shef_Fitness   10 #25 Posted May 11, 2009 I am looking for a hobby for my hubby and I to take up together (no rude suggestions please!) - anyone got any suggestions?  PS We're not too sporty, arty and hubby doesn't like dancing!    Try walking in the peak district. Its on your doorstep, gentle excersies, lots of nice country pubs and great for getting rid of stress
 Share this content via...
Glennis   15 #26 Posted May 11, 2009 OK so dogging's out then..... (sorry) Walking? There's quite a few clubs around this area and plenty of routes to try....  Age / fitness of the pair of you???  Why not? its free and you only need a good pair of boots, waterproofs and rucksack ... and the freedom of the highways and byways is yours. Basalt   10 #30 Posted May 11, 2009 Bellringing. Although attached to churches belltowers are quite separate and ringing is a secular activity. In Sheffield there is ringing at Walkley, Ranmoor, The Cathedral, St Maries, Handsworth and Dore.  And quite a few more including Ecclesfield: http://www.ecclesfieldtower.org.uk/  More info at: http://www.cccbr.org.uk/
 Share this content via...
