slimsid2000
They seem very popular. Who here owns one themselves? http://www.bestfor.me.uk/staffie1.jpg
spottie2101
I have two brindle boys, one 13 and one 4 1/2 as well as a foster Staffie Bitch. They are brilliant dogs and wish the media would give them a break and more people would be willing to consider taking them. Thats how i started and i have never looked back
teeny
I have never had a staffie but I have seen the other side of staffies. I am sorry to say i was witness to 2 staffies attacking a passerby some months ago, also I have seen one go for a small child sat asleep in a buggy. We walk 2 that we have to walk separtly they are fine with people but not with other animals. while i would be happy to give them ago, i am concerned with whats been inbred into this breed. PrincessKate
All my dogs have been staffie crosses all 4 rescues, wouldnt have it any other way!
spottie2101
The problem with Staffies is if they fall into the wrong hands they can cause problems. However saying that ANY DOG can turn even cute little dogs it just seems all the media want to report is about the poor old Staffies which makes them even more appealing to the wrong sort. So it becomes a on-going circle.
puddinburner
I don't own a staffy...Thank God, I will stick to proper dog's like border collies or GSD's. LOL...no offence to staffy owners, just my preference! IQ must match IQ of dog in my view..lol
vikki
i agree spottie the issue is for example 4 yorkies could attack a child or dog etc and nothing would get mentioned as it is seen as a nip or bruise but 1 staffie does it 1 month and its world spread becuase the staffie can potentionally do alot more damage. After the ones I've seen in the local area / parks etc, I would not touch one with a bargepole, and I do my best to keep my dogs away from them. Give me my stupid but extremely loyal GSD and the daft springer any day.
