Anyone know what the longest road without a pub on it is?

Recommended Posts

not sure but, the longest AVENUE WITHOUT A PUB is Sicey Avenue(2.4 Miles), its 2 pubs, The Shiregreen and The Sicey Hotel are now both demolished.

I know that pubs were not allowed on Staniforth Road because the sisters who owned the land were teetotal and the covenant was part of the contract. Think it was originally called Pinfold Lane.

That's strange because the Staniforth Arms was on Staniforth Road, at one end, and the Wellington at the other...

There isn't a pub on the road between Benghazi and Tripoli along the coast road. The I95 between Miami and Portland in Maine has never had a pub on it. I did drive from Merida and Cancun in Yucatan in Mexico and no pub was evident.

done that trip and yes you're right not a drink to be found also Benghazi to Kufra oasis vr=ery dry:gag::gag:
