pitsmoorboy   17 #25 Posted May 20, 2013 Loads of fond memories, specially the strippers. I remember one of the strippers used to get her lady lumps into a bowler hat. Some lovely times.
 Share this content via...

brian1941 Â Â 11 #32 Posted July 4, 2013 I came from Rock st and mostly went to the loco club, i can still remember the where we sat on saturday nights. We went upstairs to the concert room and if you turned left a little as if you were going to the bar, we sat at first table in the corner over looking the staircase. Had some good nights. valshipston   10 #35 Posted July 8, 2013 I used to go there in the seventies with my wife and eldest daughter. I think we went in on Friday nights, to watch a band usually. All the little kids would dance at the front. Never any trouble, all the kids were well behaved (because we made sure of that). Then we would walk through pistmoor to catch the bus home about 11-00 pm. I wouldn't fancy doing that walk now at that time of the night. Do any of you remember the old steward, Vin, ? He later went to Sheffield Lane W.M.C. He's still around, I see him two or three times a week. Another thing I remember about the Loco Club was that it was there that I first saw a colour Television in the late 1960's.  i remember vin &his wife maureen when you see him again tell him val &eric f rom the dial have asked about them
 Share this content via...
