bellis   10 #37 Posted April 30, 2008 He may not have put his view across properly, he probably means the PL brings an extra 2,000 fans So he still leaves the 1,000 away fans in BOTH figures of 25,500 and 28,500. Had he not, the figures would have been 24,500 and 27,500  But yes, we have received a drop in numbers coming to watch games. This could be neutrals who wanted to see PL football, this could be glory hunters who have decided not to come back. Either way it was expected we would have a loss in fanbase, but its nowhere near as many as "some" anticipated.  its the 2nd season out of the prem you tend to notice gates dropping by large amounts ..and thats for any club
 Share this content via...
Robbie Loving   10 #38 Posted April 30, 2008 Rob, where has he left the away support from 25,500? What is your average this season?  The reference of a drop of 2k is where PL teams bring EXTRA fans. So instead of 3k coming, only 1k might.  So our average attendance would be approx 24,500 home fans this season, but last season without the away fans it was probably about 27,
 Share this content via...

Robbie Loving   10 #48 Posted April 30, 2008 she's not on her own this week .  Good point......  So I've decided to differentiate between the part timers.  The ones who have got a ticket for this sundays game who doesn't have a Season Ticket is just a part timer.  Those who don't have a ticket all together, is a part part timer  COME OUT PART AND PART PART TIMERS, OUT YOURSELVES.
