So he still leaves the 1,000 away fans in BOTH figures of 25,500 and 28,500. Had he not, the figures would have been 24,500 and 27,500

 

But yes, we have received a drop in numbers coming to watch games. This could be neutrals who wanted to see PL football, this could be glory hunters who have decided not to come back. Either way it was expected we would have a loss in fanbase, but its nowhere near as many as "some" anticipated.

The reference of a drop of 2k is where PL teams bring EXTRA fans. So instead of 3k coming, only 1k might.

 

So our average attendance would be approx 24,500 home fans this season, but last season without the away fans it was probably about 27,600

Those who don't have a ticket all together, is a part part timer
