Hi Can anyone tell me how to set up my computer so that I have to put in a password to log on when I turn it on? It's probably really simple but I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks Jen

If you want something unique/unusual I'd give etsy.com a try. It's a bit like ebay but it's all hand made stuff. This seller has some nice quirky stuff & is based in sheffield. I'm sure you'd find something on there that would be perfect. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5246288

is it just my eye sight or has the river now over flowed onto the road on camera 17? http://www.thepcoffice.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=29 -
I put all my lush purchases in my undies drawers until I use them, it makes them all smell yummy!! Although I do get strange looks from the hubbie when he catches me sniffing my socks!

I think it's a great idea. Can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Are ther any details for the dates Nightmare Before Christmas 3D will be showing, I want to make sure I get a ticket as I'll cry if I miss out. I don't think I've been this excited about going to the cinema since I was about 6 and went to see Ghostbusters!!

article from the AMG website: KT Tunstall to play Carling Academy Sheffield. Following on from the acquisition of South Yorkshire’s former Roxy nightclub, Academy Music Group (AMG) can confirm the venue will be renamed Carling Academy Sheffield. The £3,000,000 development is underway and scheduled to open in April 2008. Plans for the venue include a large main auditorium and a secondary smaller room, emulating the success of its multi-room format at other AMG venues across the country, with an overall building capacity in excess of 2,000 *subject to the licence*. The diary is now open and already KT Tunstall has been confirmed to play Carling Academy Sheffield in the opening month with tickets for the gig on Wednesday 16th April 2008. Brit Award winner and Grammy nominee, KT Tunstall is riding high with her latest album ‘Drastic Fantastic’, the follow-up to her 4 million selling debut, ‘Eye To The Telescope’.

I'm setting myself a moulin rouge related challenge!!
jen229 replied to jen229's topic in Sheffield Crafts Group
Thanks girls, I'll check out Primark tomorrow. Sophie your hats are gorgeous but I'm lookin for a 'cheap' outfit and they're a little over my budget, thanks though, I'll probably end up with one made out of card!! -
I am going to a fancy dress party for new years eve. The theme is movie characters so i've decided to go as Satine from Moulin Rouge, however the costumes are just too expensive so i've decided (perhaps unwisely) to make my own. Any help from fellow crafters would be much appreciated as i go along. I want to make something similar to this for the bottom half: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/jensmcken/moulin%20rouge/moulinrougeskirtbustle.jpg And I need some kind of corset for the top half (this might be the expensive part). Something similar to this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v330/jensmcken/moulin%20rouge/basque2.jpg I also need to find a miniture black or red top hat. So any advice on places to buy the fabric or advice on how to actually make the bottom half would be much appreciated, along with any other ideas anyone may have!! Thanks Jen x

If you can afford them then I would recommend T3 straighteners, I've got a set. I have very long, thick hair and they are brilliant. They have a temperature control and heat up really quickly. http://www.salonlines.co.uk/hair-straighteners/t3-straighteners/t3-narrow-straightener/

I'm doing their first photoshoot tonight. Photogenic lot... Will be involved with the video somewhere along the line, too, I should think. Very good band, this.

I don't mind, I just seem to be a bit inspiration-less about it. I'm going with my husband & I don't know if he could be talked into a spa weekend!!

I'm turning 30 in March and not looking forward to it to be honest. I have therefore decided to go away on holiday for it. Can anyone recommend places to go for a long weekend in March that aren't not too expensive?
