I found an injured wood pigeon and called our vets who told me to take it to them (which I did). Maybe try the vets tomorrow AM (so keep it overnight with a bit of food) or ...leave it to nature ...

Fiat Garage Riverside Loxley: closed?
la_que_sabé replied to la_que_sabé's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Thank you. Do you have a number/address? -
Hi I've tried calling the Fiat Garage in Loxley but no answer. Does anyone know if they've closed? If so, can anyone recommend another garage in the town/s6 area that's reliable for repairing a 14 year old Fiat Seicento? Thank you in advance

Thai boxing/kickboxing classes

I've been going to AFK Kickboxing on Sidney Street, city centre since January 2015. Great teachers and students. I'm addicted to it! Chefkicker (who is on shef forum) runs it so he'll be able to give you more info. There are classes for adults Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun. Times differ depending on ability. -

Went to this today. Great fun and excellent teachers: very patient with absolute novices like myself and passionate about their sport. Highly recommend! -
You could sign up for Ultra White Collar Boxing - training is at POW gym run by Ryan Rhodes and Mark Willie. Great guys who work you harder than you will think is possible!

Does Joe McGovern have a website for his gym? Just tried googling it but nothing came up - just star articles. If not, is there a contact number? Thanks -

Hi, can we just turn up or do we need to book in advance. Was hoping to come to tomorrow's class. Also, do we need to bring/wear anything in particular for the first class? Thanks -

Hi, I passed in November last year with Driversity (began my lessons in May 2013). Someone had posted on here recommending them. I was v nervous and convinced it was a pointless endeavour but Sarah, the instructor, was a really good teacher- laid back but professional and v experienced. Moreover she was very patient- she had to be with me! The added bonus was some great deals with lessons equating to ÂŁ15 an hour when block booking 20 hours. The website is http://driversitysheffield.co.uk or just Google: driversity Sheffield. Ps. Although Sarah's based in S9, she was flexible in picking me up from both S6 and S3. Good luck whoever you choose - it's a great skill to have :-) I love my new found freedom now I can drive.

Try Sheffield Help Yourself website - just Google it and it has a whole host of different services in Sheffield listed on it. You can search by type of service too. Also CQC website may be of use once you've identified a place as you can look for reports. Finally, Google 'say no to 0870' - it's a database that has alternative landline numbers for lots of 0845/ 0870 etc numbers. Good luck.
