  1. This is a way way late addition to the party but I came across this thread and thought that this might help anyone else who happens on it. I've done a bit of research in this area, and it really doesn't matter what state the textiles are in - as long as they are not wet or mouldy. According to a London recycler, http://www.lmb.co.uk/recycle.html, torn and stained textiles get turned into things like cleaning rags, I've also read somewhere that they get turned into mattress filling and car insulation, all sorts! Anyway hope that helps anyone else who stumbles on this... Ultimately all these organisations want to avoid the textiles going into a landfill site.
  2. Good business opportunity then..! Ones I've seen can be a bit pricey though
  3. Take small steps and keep your feet flat !
  4. I get that sometimes people need to park where they have to park. There's not always much alternative. But parking on corners, this drives me crazy... it's so dangerous and inconsiderate when you go round a corner only to be practically face to face with someone coming the other way because there is a car blocking half the road..
  5. I personally find that its a friendly place. Perhaps its important to remember that in the modern world people seem more unhappy in general, but on that depressing note, comparatively I still find Sheffield a nicer place with, generally speaking nicer people
  6. When I visit, I find the people in Sheffield really friendly. A friend of mine went to uni there and never left!
