  1. I would like to put the record straight regarding 'Nikitas' comment about my business. There were no 'posing' photos of her dog. They were natural and of her sitting and playing with the others. Nikitas problem was that when she picked her dog up *a tiny yorkie* I told her she'd attacked my partner several times during her stay. She had tried to bite his hand when he attempted to stroke her and then attacked his legs whenever he entered a room, meaning he had to wear boots at all times in his own home. She had also tried to bite a customer. I was never nasty about this however, I merely pointed it out as I am always honest about how each dogs stay has been but nikita didn't like what I said and tried to blame my partner, refusing to listen to me. Nikita then messaged me the next day to say her dog had a little diarreah and asked if she'd eaten anything different while here. I replied that I hadnt given her anything other than the cheese and ham that she came with as treats but that there was always a chance she may have picked up a couple of pieces of food that one of the other dogs may have spilled from their bowls. With several dogs boarding I can make no guarantee that there wont be the odd biscuit somewhere. I told her it was likely a bakers meaty chunk that her dog may have had as the other boarders had come with this food. Please also note that on the day she dropped off her little dog she'd had her at the vets because she hadnt eaten or drank all week prior so they had put her on tablets for this and this combined with the cheese and ham she had sent could have also given her diarreah. It was just one of those unfortunate things. And that is the long and short of it. But since the dogs stay 2 years ago Nikita has pulled my business to pieces all over the internet, she has sent me countless natsy messages and slandered me no end. My reviews speak for themselves. I have a huge client base of regular customers who've been with me for over 3 years. In all my time boarding I have never come across a customer like Nikita. Despite the picture she tries to paint, her little dog had a lovely time here and although she showed aggression she was treated no differently to any other boarding dog. She still had full access to all my home, spent her evenings on my sofa, and was walked 3 times a day. I wont say any more on this matter, nor will I be drawn into an argument. I merely wanted to put the record straight as I have worked tirelessly to build up a trustworthy business and Nikita is determined to ruin it. ---------- Post added 03-05-2017 at 11:32 ---------- I would like to put the record straight regarding 'Nikitas' comment about my business. 2. I keep chickens so any questions just ask I've got 4 ex batts in my flock and they lay great. I get an egg a day off each of them most days. At the min they're the only ones really laying while the rest are being slackers! If you have facebook go to my page http://www.facebook.com/chirpychickchicks and I'll be more than happy to give any help or advice that I can while you're getting the hang of things xxx

  4. Hi guys hope I'm okay to post this! I breed and sell chickens and quail as pets. My chickens are mainly mixed breeds suitable to be kept in the garden as pets and for eggs. They live well in small groups of 3 or as a large flock. I also breed Brahma which are heavy, super fluffy and absolutely stunning birds with feathered feet and legs. They still lay a good amount of eggs but unlike your standard garden hen these girls are really something! They come in a variety of colours from blue, gold, red and white and blue partridge. Your neighbours will be VERY jealous. My hens are all quiet birds, very healthy and happy to be handled and I'm more than happy to show customers my flock My quail are Japanese quail which are very tame and sturdy birds suitable for living inside in something such as a rabbit cage or outside in the garden in a rabbit hutch or small chicken coop. Being only small they're easy to handle and lay a good amount of beautiful speckled eggs. They're quiet little birds and the males don't crow or make any loud noises. Quail and mixed breed chicks are sold from 3 days up to 2 weeks old meaning they're still cute little balls of fluff which you can handle and tame with ease. As they're hatched in my incubator they have no 'parent' as such and as they start eating and drinking almost immediately they don't need to stay with me until they're older like a puppy or kitten would. Chicks are £3 each and quail chicks £2 each. My Brahma are sold from 10 weeks old and are sexed. As they're such a docile bird they're generally very tame no matter what age you buy them. Their prices vary depending on age and quality of the bird. Prices start from £15 a hen. Once you've bought one I guarantee you'll want more! For more info feel free to comment on here or take a look at my facebook page where you'll find lots of info for newbies who might be unsure where to start. My page is http://www.facebook.com/chirpychickchicks Thanks x

  6. Yes I'm aware of all of that having owned poultry for a while now and being a breeder of quality Brahma and mixed breed chooks I know exactly how birds should be housed/fed/looked after and none of my growers have ever pecked each other because I provide ample space and boredom busters like you yourself do, but these conditions were not just bad (I've seen bad) They were horrific. No decent poultry place should keep their birds in such cramped, dark and filthy conditions. At least 100 quail in a 1metre square pen. There was a dog there with a bad leg, in so much pain it could barely stand to walk and the stone outhouse it lived in was wet, full of big holes and freezing. It would have had better shelter sleeping under a car. I spoke to a few friends who are also poultry breeders when I got home and they all told me they'd been up there and were shocked by what they saw. Wish I'd known this before I went! I called the council who said defra have been out several times and told them to get the place cleaned up and sorted out. But it seems nothing been done about it. It might be worth having a wander up there and seeing for yourself what I mean. It's not the coops that you can see as you approach that are the problem. It's in the sheds that are closed off where things are really awful.
  7. I went up last week for some birds and it was horrific. Very cramped and dark living conditions, birds pecked completely bare of feathers all bloody skin and looking like they're dying. No signs of food around and the birds were skinny with empty crops. Spoke to a few friends and they've all said they've been in the past and its been really bad and they haven't been back
  8. Just wondering if anyones been and what you thought. Thanks
  9. Google 'for the love of pets' rotherham. Its my friend and shes brilliant. Only 2 mins down the road from you too If you need a sitter for when you're on holiday I'm in S60 moorgate (just round the corner). My page is http://www.facebook.com/pamperedpetsrotherham
  10. Oh no could you not catch them? I'd have rehomed them I have coops and hutches
  11. Take a look at the Phoenix Hen Rescue on facebook they have some at the min. Based in rotherham I believe https://m.facebook.com/phoenixhenrescue/photos/a.204919856372322.1073741829.204671716397136/428950003969305/?type=1
  12. Have you considered home boarding where they stay in a licensed sitters home and get to interact with other friendly dogs?
  13. I 1000% recommend real pet grub in hillsborough. I buy my rotties food from there and its very reasonably priced much cheaper than natures menu who I used to use until I realised the meat was very fatty. Give real pet grub a try well worth it x
  14. Try these guys. Based in hillsborough and very cheap compared to most places. They specialise in raw food. We've been using them ages x https://m.facebook.com/REAL.PET.GRUB?refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FREAL.PET.GRUB
