The Liberal Democrats are the best of the three main parties, its a shame more people can't see it, Labour and the Tories are well past their sell by dates. The Liberal Democrats are a progressive party which stands for social justice just like Labour, but unlike Labour, aren't obsessed with class and dont seek to create a huge overbearing state.

This still isn't a good example of something that is currently legal, that could unfairly/wrongly be made illegal if a government agency happened upon it whilst monitoring a phone call or intercepting an email.

The way I see it is that the last Labour government were deliberatley soft on the "city", they allowed the city to flurish to pay for the public sector and welfare system that Labour were building up, keeping both those at the bottom and the top of society happy...it was a formula that seemed to work, Blair won election after election, and perhaps it could have continued if not for "international events" cocking it all up.

The Libdems are the most national of the three main parties...the Tories have no meaningful presence in the north and Labours support is mostly in the north, whereas the Libdems have support in all parts of the country, especially at a local council level. I like the way the Libdems run/ran sheffield council.

Talking in those terms dehumanises the issue. Every job is done by a person.
