  1. Just because I like old 80's cartoons narrated by Terry Wogan: Stoppit & Tidy-up!
  2. Its not so much my bed, as the fact that my lovely big tv is positioned right next to it, thus meaning weekends of non movement...
  3. Correction!!!! Bristol IS a nasty area, it just happens to contain an even nastier area called St. Pauls!!! (Think Guns, think mindless violence, think that 70 % of crack and heroin dealt in Southern England goes through there.) This is not mindless prejudice... This is me living there for 21 years before moving up here...
  4. I've only ever told 2 women that I love them - My mum and my grandma. My lass is getting a lil annoyed that I won't say it back to her, but I can't say it with conviction to her, so I don't. I care for her, but is she always going to be there for me like my family? I don't know, so I don't say it.
  5. I must be an ass man, because everywhere I go, people shout "You're an ass, man..."
  6. Thats the first Maiden joke I've heard since moving up to sheffield 12 months ago.... You just made my Year!!!
  7. My feeling is that todays silence speaks volumes.
  8. Its about both of those things, and more. Its about paying the respect due to our fellow countrymen/women who suffered in these attacks, its about letting the families and friends of these poor victims know that they have our thoughts and our prayers, and most importantly, its a matter of respect. If someone on this forums, Brother, Sister, Father, Mother or closest friend was one of the victims, how would they feel about people (in general, not neccasarily on this post) disrespecting them, carrying on and breaking the respectful silence? My view on this is clear. Whilst the attacks were 200 miles away, the victims deserve the respect that the vast majority of this forum, and hopefully this nation has given them. They are in my thoughts, prayers, and heart.
  9. South Yorkshire Constabulary... Well, they "Confiscated" one of my aquaintances herb...
  10. I believe the etiquette is 1 min slilence for the death of a prominent figure (ie, Princess Di, Queen Mother), and 2 Min silence for a disaster/tragedy.
  11. I remember when I was an oompa loompa... that was short!
