  4. Hi Best bit of advice I got for losing weight was dont cut the calories too much, aim for 2500 for men 2000 for women to start with and monitor your weight if you are not losing weight increase your exercise do not cut food out. Limit the amount of starchy carbohydrates ( bread, pasta, rice ect )you consume only have these after exercise and eat loads of green veg and protein. Make sure you do weight training dont just do cardio. Do research on the internet. I lost 5st and these are some of the things I used, Its hard work but its worth it. 8. Try don valley or institite of sport. I think they both come under SIV so you can use ponds forge and hillsbrough centers under the same membership. Posted from Sheffieldforum.co.uk App for Android
  9. There are 2 schools of thought on bulking as far as I am aware 1 bulk and cut:- Eat loads of high protein food and consume loads of calories for a period of time E.G 3 months no cardio loads of weights then cut away the fat by controlling calories but keeping protein high for 3 months and doing lots of cardio and lots of weights. 2 Lean bulk:- Eat just over maintenance calories for a longer period E.G. 6-9 months keep protein high and lift heavy weights and do cardio then do a small cut to take off the bit of fat you have put on. To bulk you need to eat more calories than you burn. For both of these find out your maintenance calories by using this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harris-Benedict_equation As for supplements you don't really need them if your diet is bang on but could be used for upping your protein intake so I would only say use protein and maybe creatin try this site http://www.bulkpowders.co.uk/ no need to buy expensive maximuscle stuff this is the same only cheaper Plenty of good advice on this site http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/

  13. The CWU asked all angard staff to join so that they could deal with the pay debacle that Royal Mail created, very few did join so got no representation and had to look after them self's which led to people not getting paid in a decent amount of time. Angard was a dormant company set up by and only used by Royal Mail for the Christmas period to avoid paying huge fee's to agency's for the vast amount of people need to cover the Christmas rush it was never designed to last longer than January. I believe this is a precursor to the future casualisation of Royal Mail. To the op, I think trade unions have done great things in the past however I think unfortunately they are dying out mainly due to the apathy of the people in them. I have had great help in the past from the union at a local level but have also been shafted by them too, at a national level our union seem to be management stooges.
  14. Can anyone recommend a good plasterer that they have used please, I am after one to re skim a couple of bedrooms in the very near future. Thanks
  15. Maybe because RM have been forced to sort and deliver all TNT's mail for years at a loss. Only in the last few month have they been allowed to charge other carriers enough to make a profit on what they send through RM's system.
