It's the one at the football stadium. I have been this morning and done really well, better than Marsh Lane. Well worth the £9.30 pitch fee, hard standing, well organised. -
We are having double glazing installed. Our vertical blinds currently screw into the window frame due to there being a steel lintel across the top of the window recess. Can anyone recommend someone who could fit the blinds in the recess as we can't put them back in the frames? Thanks.

I bought a mini fridge and took out a 3 year replacement cover, broke after 2 1/2 years, went back and got a replacement, the item had gone up, but they didn't charge any extra. Same with a TV, just let me choose a replacement for the value of the one I had to return. Never had a problem.

Aerial installation and quotes

Try George at Ecclesfield Aerials - really good value and an excellent tidy job. I had an aerial and three feeds put in in a notoriously bad signal aerial and get a better picture than on Sky. Ecclesfield Aerials Tel: 0114 257 7426 -
Would happily recommend Jon (JBradleyBz) - had an oven, hob and cooker hood fitted and he has made a brilliant job. Really clean, very thorough and friendly - pleasure to do business with him.

I can recommend Jon - he fitted my oven, hob and cooker hood earlier this year and did a fantastic job.

I used American Style Limos for my 50th and they were great, and very reasonable as well.

There used to be a shop at Darnall that sold really cheap roll ends - it was on the row of shops opposite Lidl - they also sold cards - the roll ends used to be at the back of the shop - I have had two really good value carpets and also some vinyl from there.

Mobri bakery in Ecclesfield used to do the most gorgeous meat pies - not sure if they still do - but worth a check. -
In Memory of my daughter Anisah Mahmood

When my friends nephew died, I found this poem. It is never easy to know what to say when a child dies, but perhaps, remember these words each time you see a rainbow. God brings children into our lives for many reasons. For joy and laughter; for patience and pride; for sorrow and tears; for hugs and kisses. In other words, God gives us children to add color to our lives. When God takes a child from this Earth, His purpose is still the same. You see, when God takes a child, it's because he needs another Rainbow Painter. -
And Prince of Wales Road as well.

Does anybody remember doing the "1940 Sheffield Blitz Show" in the hall and at Colley WMC? I did the horlicks advert!!

I went to Colley - left in 1977. Just seen this thread and read about Mr Mbele - the nicest teacher I have ever met. Went back to the school on day release when it was Parson Cross College.
