Crayfish Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 I just hate the people on trains. I went to Edinburgh last weekend though and only paid £25 return. It's the same with all transport, earlier booking means cheaper fares. True. The one on the way up there was only a tenner, to be fair. The people can be annoying (I was surrounded by a stag party of 18 year olds in pink cowboy hats drinking fosters last time) but I did once get a great story from a talkative highlander about his brother. Something to do with him trying to force his attentions on a sheep on the moors, but he was on crack and accidentally stabbed himself in the leg, hallucinated police chasing him and rolled his BMW into a ditch.
