Norbert
42p for a pint of lager in the Westfield Social Club c1981. My friend's Auntie ran it and let us in from 15 years old. The turns were great before backing tapes were invented, and pool, video games (Moon Cresta & Amidar) and Tombola (bingo) made for a mini-Olympics of a night out. mikeG
Ernie Blenkinsop at the Sportsman, Crosspool served me a pint of Mansfield bitter for 1/6 (public bar price) in 1960. In the lounge it was 1/8.
