At Woodbourn Rd in the 1960s, houses were named after planets - I was in the Mars house.

At Waltheof, Sheffield history was the theme - Furnival, Arundel, Talbot... can't recall the fourth.

Waltheof - Furnival- red, Talbot-blue, Arundel-yellow, Neville-Green.

Spartans - Black & White Quarters

Franks - Red & Black Quarters

Saxons - Yellow & Green Quarters

I was in Spartans with my old friend Tim Jackson( anyone no what happened to Tim?) - 1962-68 . We were also in the same Ten Pin bowling team (Bowling Stones) on Saturday mornings at Universal on Queens Road.
