towl Posted December 18, 2006 Share Posted December 18, 2006 Can also confirm the Vicarage is great, will be their for Xmas Lunch on Monday, £95 and worth every penny. If you don't mind travelling a little, there is also the Box tree at Ilkley, and Wintringham Fields just north of scunthorpe, (under new owners, but still a great meal) Oh and also Fischers at Baslow has had a star since the mid nineties. There are also some pretty decent rooms attached as well and it came recommended from someone who I know enjoys lovely food. Why not go to both!!
