For all the wrong reasons, I would have to say that 'Tesco Express' on West Street has one of the funniest shop names - I do hope they were going for irony.

There's Curl Up and Dye (hairdressers) at the bottom of Fir Street in Walkley. My work mate lives on that road and I've often commented on why he's not more depressed when he has to drive towards that cheerful sentiment every morning.

On the early stages of London Rd is the famous chippie 'A salt 'n' Battered'...course, it's late and I may have the spelling wrong, but that's the name!

Someone smashed the B off the sign so it read 'RATS'
