hermes
god you had me worried for a moment there! i rushed into the living room, stuck the telly on - sure enough, blur background with a yellow box saying "This channel is experiencing technical difficulties"!! dunno what channel that was, though, cos i flicked around all the others and thankfully they were fine.. terrestrial channels, sky 1, 2 and 3, livingtv, e4, etc.. all kosher.. hope you get yours back soon

fox20thc
Always when the weather is odd. Hot steaming sunshine I get pixels instead of ITV1. Rain - depends on the channel. a good old storm - it gives up and has a rest.
Dana
I was told heavy rain affects the signal. Sky's advice is to wait while the heavy rain stops. If there is still no signal I was advised to take the viewing card out, turn the box off at the main, wait at least 15 seconds and then switch the box back on and insert the viewing card. I may take a few minutes for it to find the signal. Whenever I have lost a signal and it doesn't come back this method has always worked.
martss
I was watching it at my ex's the other night, picture kept pixelating then showed "No signal" message. This happened over and over again, then I realised I could hear a scratching noise at the same time the picture went. Went outside, the dish is on a flat roof and there was 6 young Magpies attacking it! Wonder what Sky's suggested cure for that would be??
PrincessEmma
My Sky always dies when there's thunder and lightening. It soon gets back to normal when the storm blows over.
