Iceland thanks Tory MPs for sales boost from hot cross reaction to ‘tick’ bun

Looks like it's trebles all round in the viral marketing department.

Maybe so.  But imagine what would happen if the religious symbol was not a Christian one but of another religion.

Other religions don't celebrate Easter. If there was a Star of David on a bun it wouldn't be celebrating Easter as Jews don't believe in Jesus as the messiah.

Saying that if there was a Darwin Fish on a Easter bun lookalike I might buy it over a hot cross bun for a laugh, only once though as hot cross buns have horrible candied peel in them, which is just taking the pith.

I really don't, you'll have to spell it out for me I'm afraid.

Apparently so they don't upset anyone who isn't Christian they have replaced the cross on hot cross  buns with a tick

I won't be buying any bun with a tick on it,  if people don't want to buy one with a cross they can do what they did in previous years.

What if the tick was made of lovely chocolate, hand painted by George Clooney?

The point is that it's only Christianity which this sort of censorship happens to.

In essence - all religions are equal. But some are more than others.

My apologies, but even I'd turn for him.

We established on the last page that the story isn't real, like almost all similar stories, it's just stuff to trigger the simple minded.

All religions are equally made up though. Do you follow one?
