Look North Football Coverage

Tonight ,the Sport Reporter on Look North mentioned Sheffield United,Leeds ,Rotherham and Harrogate Town,but no mention of Sheffield Wednesday. I know we would probably prefer not to be reminded of Saturday’s result,but I have noticed this before - it seems the production team just ignore SWFC deliberately. Remember The War Of The Monster Trucks?!

If the policy is Premier League only ,fair enough,but as Leeds and Rotherham are also in the Championship and Harrogate Town are in LeaguecTwo,that is obviously not the case.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I knew it was 1991,but thought it was the BBC.

My point still stands though -the owls are often ignored whilst other teams aren’t!

To be fair, they also didn't mention these Yorkshire teams tonight either:

 

Doncaster

Barnsley

Bradford

Huddersfield

Hull

Middlesborough

 

Plus every other Yorkshire team below League 2 (Halifax, York, Scarborough etc)

They are obsessed with Leeds United... always start with them even though they're championship and Sheffield United are premier league.

Look north spe nd most of the time talking about charity events, a little news thrown in, then fill the rest of the programme with articles about kids, interviews with kids, poor show nowadays  imo

A few weeks back the Sunday night Look North bulletin had three items...a murder in Leeds, something about Leeds council, and a charity event at Roundhay Park in....Leeds. An absolute disgrace!
