DeZeus
If when you remove the Battery, from the Toshiba does it still not respond when power lead applied?
Ghozer
Remove battery, unplug power - hold power button for 10-15 secs... plug in power (leave battery out) and hold power button for 2/3 secs to see if it comes on... if it does, boot it up, shutdown, reinstall battery and try again.. If not, then likely other things to check

swarfendor437
I'd recommend 30 seconds rather than 10-15 seconds. 😉 https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/Draining-static-charge-procedure/td-p/1740772 Oops - didn't see the second page - Yes! Nice result! Edited October 18, 2020 by swarfendor437
