I more or less agree with you.  However, bye-election results are often freak results for numerous reasons and are rarely repeated in general elections.  I expect Labour to win the Batley seat in the next general election by a much bigger margin because George Galloway will contest a different seat assuming he's still around and able to be a candidate.

I can guarantee 110% that labour will not win it the next time...........................there will not be another next time, i believe the seat will not be up for grabs due to boundary changes

No Galloway cant stand everywhere, but other people can, Labour lost Hartlepool which has always been a labour strong hold, and GG wasnt  even there, there is pattern forming here, i wonder what it is?

I will send more than a fiver if they implement socialist policies,

Why should i not be relaxed,  If starmer gets in very little will change from the  tory policy

There we have it.

Deano is a supporter of the revolting Galloway and the equally repulsive Johnson.

You are one confused kid.

Not rattled at all.

I do think you’ve lost the plot though.

I'm not sure which workers the 'Worker's Party' represents. Certainly not women workers, or gay or trans workers, or Jewish workers.

Probably his bunch of “workers” who wreaked havoc and intimidation in Batley during the by- election

Ultimately, George Galloway only ever represents George Galloway.

As you like. But  if you flip from being a Labour supporter to a potential Tory party member, you can expect a few raised eyebrows.

You can't guarantee the proposed boundary change will be approved. If it is approved it will just be called Batley and something else and the Labour candidate is likely to be the same lady and likely to be re-elected.

oh right, i thought it was cut and dried...thanks for the correction

Even if we ignore the fact that any of his supporters who stood are not as likely as him to gain votes, even if just because they aren't recognisable names, he can't bus all his supporters to campaign everywhere in a general election.

Given "Support from influential local business people and property developers has allowed Galloway to set up three campaign headquarters", that might indicate which sort of "workers" he represents.

Although more likely, they were Tory supporters hoping he'd undermine Labour's campaign, so it's more an indication of who he's happy to work for.

I see the anti-Semite Chris Williamson was campaigning for Galloway. Not very surprising really.

oh Crikey here we go again,

what has Williamson said that you deem him to be an  anti semite? and what was the reason  why he was kicked out of the labour party?
