drolnhoj   15 #1 Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) Seen Black Capped Warblers, kingfishers, grey heron, sand martins, swifts, grey wagtail, moorhens, mallard, greenfinch, buzzards, rooks, carrion crow, loads of sea birds, magpies, jackdaws, wrens, robins, wood pigeons and recorded many more like tree creepers, parakeets etc. How amazing in a short stretch of urban river. Enjoying my lockdown walks. Edited June 15, 2020 by drolnhoj Typo
 Share this content via...
Temuchin   13 #2 Posted June 15, 2020 How come I've never heard of this place - it sounds magnificent?! Think I'll finally have to get round to doing the Five Weirs and pay a visit.
 Share this content via...

We first found it many years ago after finding 'Salmon Pastures' marked on an old map of Sheffield. Excellent what they have done with the place. Have to take the Grandkids some time.
