Should we pardon the Suffragettes?

It's a dangerous path, to forgive a person's crime because we totally believe in the cause they did it for. Let's not forget, this was not just withholding taxes, IED's we're involved. What group of people would be next to be pardoned? Animal Rights activists? There's a difference in welcoming the changes people fought for and condoning their methods.

 

Sixteen year olds in this country pay taxes but don't have representation. Would this be giving them the green light to start a bombing campaign?

Suffragette Edith Rigby was wrong. In 1913 she set fire to a property belonging to someone who was actually in support of women's rights.

No they shouldnt be pardoned for their criminal acts.. They were amazing women who achieved great things through certain methods but those methods were illigal.

 

If they were to be pardoned, then who else should be pardoned for committing the same crimes throughout history?
