Sainsburys have done this for years, just like some people put cones outside their own house and expect the space to be free when they get home.Nobody has the legal right to the parking space outside their premises. If you want to park outside Sainsburys when the cones are there, you have a right to do so,let them fetch the police if they want to.

Sainsbury's is the old Crookes Palace cinema, there was never a loading area nor is there space for one, unlike the Co-op, which is a purpose built store. This cannot be a new problem as the site has been a supermarket before, as far back as the 60's (Fine Fare) Perhaps the Council should have addressed this when allowing change of use.

You all have valid points, so how about a compromise - reverse down Newent Lane and unload via the back door ?

Shall I let you in to a little secret *looks around* some people park on double yellows when nipping in to places and put their hazards on. Don't tell anyone though, they think people can't see them.

Can I suggest alcohol or some hard drugs to perhaps cheer you up slightly? Or if those are a little ''too much'' perhaps just crack a smile, just once a week to begin with.
