top4718 Posted September 7, 2016 Share Posted September 7, 2016 The Star is much maligned on here but one feature I did always enjoy reading was the restaurant review page, especially in the days of Martin Dawes the guy who replaced him had a shaky start but the reviews were improving, he now seems to have vanished and the current incumbent writes bland garbage with no points system at the end of the review. I doubt any of the staff are from Sheffield , they seem to know very little about it, I'm surprised people still buy this garbage at the price it is. I only really get it for the local sport which is covered quite well, wont bother with the Wednesday edition anymore if this idiot keeps writing it.
