Living in Chapeltown/ High green you can go months if not years without seeing a road sweeper. Lo and behold whilst on way to Meadowhall this morning there appeared one in the center of Chapeltown therefore there must be an election in the near future because that is the only time one appears, just so the local Labour Party can espouse how they love S35 and provide council services.

 

Perhaps you should be a bit more observant or get up earlier in a morning:hihi: as the street cleaners complete with road/pavement sweeper are out and about in Chapeltown EVERY morning (mon-fri at least) cleaning all around the centre and Lound Side/ Station Road/Burncross Road and they regularly clean around Costcutter on Bevan Way. I know this for a fact as I used to be around in Chapeltown centre 5 days a week, up until last November, from 6am.
