Bedding urgently needed for Sheffield dog pound

I believe that it is the RSPCA kennels that need bedding. Wouldn't you think that such a rich charity could run to a couple of washing machines?

 

The RSPCA kennels might need bedding as well but its definitely the Dog pound that I mean, they do go through a lot.

The RSPCA in Sheffield is run independently. They rely on public donations and aren't a rich charity at all. And as Moonbird said, it's the council pound who's washing machine is currently broken.

 

My mum and myself dropped a load of bedding off there today

I've got some duvet covers and sheets. Does anyone know when they are open as I've tried dropping off there before and they don't answer the buzzer. Do you need to ring and tell them when you intent to drop off?

It's better to give them a call and let them know you're coming as they aren't always available to answer the door if they're busy feeding the animals or cleaning the kennels. I called on the off chance yesterday though and they answered straight away.

Their washer is now fixed, and the guy that fixed it also donated a spare washing machine to them

 

I'm sure they'll still be grateful for more bedding/sheets though.
