Wouldn't you think that such a rich charity could run to a couple of washing machines? Wouldn't you think that such a rich charity could run to a couple of washing machines? The RSPCA in Sheffield is run independently. They rely on public donations and aren't a rich charity at all. And as Moonbird said, it's the council pound who's washing machine is currently broken. Does anyone know when they are open as I've tried dropping off there before and they don't answer the buzzer. Do you need to ring and tell them when you intent to drop off? angel22 Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 It's better to give them a call and let them know you're coming as they aren't always available to answer the door if they're busy feeding the animals or cleaning the kennels. I called on the off chance yesterday though and they answered straight away.
