Jim Hardie   533 #25 Posted September 12, 2015 Was the penalty incorrect then? None of the Bury players seemed to argue with it at the time, and as they were in the refs face over most decisions all day... Not seen any of the highlights yet though, so happy to accept if it was later shown to be incorrect.  Just going on what I heard on P or G from a Unitedite who was there. He said it was miles outside.
 Share this content via...

GVOWL Â Â 10 #27 Posted September 13, 2015 The foul was outside the box, not a pen. sammon abdicates his responsibility to defend, he was being lazy, very interesting to see what he did there and clarke does not foul the defender
 Share this content via...

But I don't think it was a push. If anything our defenders have to be much stronger. And for a long time we've not had a presence in defence... Aside from Edgar. Think we need someone big and ugly.  As for Wednesday. The last goal conceded was a bit embarrassing.
 Share this content via...

Which was not intentional. You can't say bugger all on here without someone getting upset. Both sides were embarrassing... That better for you? Surprised there wasn't a bigger protest from him.
 Share this content via...

I know I keep saying this but we certainly do need a stronger presence defensively. Another combative midfielder wouldn't go a miss too.
