gene   10 #50 Posted March 29, 2016 Are any decent people going to want to live there - doctors and nurses? I think not. This sounds like pulling the wool over the eyes of the council and locals to get through planning.  Even back in the 70s & 80s nurses did not want to live in the nurses' home at the NGH nor did they wish to rent or buy in this area if they could help it so why would they now. The rooms on the plans look only a little larger than those in the Nurses' home. Locals do not want a 'hostel' but it hasn't really got into the public domain yet - only those nearby are aware. redstar1987 Â Â 10 #51 Posted June 29, 2016 This development has been approved today despite objections from the local community. Although the approval has only just been granted, work commenced back in February and is at a fairly advanced stage. Wonder how much the developers gave the council to pay them off? gene   10 #52 Posted June 29, 2016 Thanks for the update - such a shame the whole area is going downhill so fast.
 Share this content via...

Maybe you should name some names
 Share this content via...
