Phew:) Electoral Commission rules state that a person is “guilty of treating if either before, during or after an election they directly or indirectly give or provide any food, drink, entertainment or provision to corruptly influence any voter to vote or refrain from voting”. You learn something new every day. Whilst we are on the subject, as anyone else noticed the increase in RMBC activity in their area, they appear to be out in force, litter picking, cutting grass, sweeping roads, clearing roadside weeds, I haven't seen this amount of council activity in years.
