Keeley and Simon are so devoted to this dog even though they've only had him for a short time. They just want to give him a chance in life after the rubbish start he's had. Please, please help them give him a chance at the life he so deserves. hackwood Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 To all who have donated so far to help Harvey, we cannot thank you enough. Harvey had a bad day yesterday but fingers crossed he is making a recovery after another trip to the vets this morning. He is currently on 2 lots of tablets twice a day plus his special low protein diet and until yesterday he has been doing really well. As you probably saw on his facebook page (Helping Harvey) he had a lovely weekend at the seaside last bank holiday weekend although he wasn't keen on getting his paws wet in the sea it has to be said. Dogs with Harvey's condition do have good days and bad days, yesterday being the worse we have seen him yet. But today all he has done is sleep which will hopefully reboost his energy levels, etc. Anyone who is reading this and is thinking of donating, every penny counts to keep Harvey on the straight and narrow so to speak. He is not fit for any surgery at the present time but that said, it is not ruled out for the future should his antibiotics stop working. If anyone does want to donate please get in touch and we can give out the appropriate details. angel22 Posted July 2, 2014 Author Share Posted July 2, 2014 Sad news tonight I'm afraid. Harvey suffered an internal bleed and his little body just couldn't cope. My thoughts are with Harvey's owners at this sad time. But at least he had a wonderful few months with them. He was happy and loved and couldn't have asked for better people to spend the last few months of his short life with. My thoughts are with Simon, Keeley and their Daughter who are absolutely devastated tonight.
