Any First Bus Drivers

I've been offered a training place with first and heard lots of bad stories about how they treat staff

If you work for them any length of time please give me your views (if you recently done your training how was it)

 

Any information you got on this would be great

They all look depressed so I can't imagine they get treated very well.

 

You know like if you go for a job in a shop, and they weed people out who are quiet and look miserable, do they do the opposite with bus driver selection?

 

Like if someone looks a bit too cheerful or smiles they say "this job isn't for you lad"?

But can imagine the passengers don't all say please and thank you, especially in the evening.

Look no-one can help you here. You'll kick yourself if you don't take it, and you'll probably kick yourself if you do take it. I know the monies not bad and that helps.

They are truly terrible, you can only have one fag at the terminus if you are late and you have to buy your own sun newspaper!
