Recommended Vet Practices in the S6 Area

Recommended Posts

We're soon to be getting a kitten and the only two I know of locally are Holme Lane and Crookes, so I wondered if anyone could recommend any vet practices in the S6 area?

Thanks for any help or advice.

Cheers,

Simon

We are in S6 and we moved to Peak Vets in Millhouses. Best decision we made for our dog.

Have you tried the pet owners section on here?

It's a goldmine of such info :)

Another thumbs up for Peak Vets, 36 Olivet Road, Woodseats, S8 8QS, tel 0114 2507733, they also do their own out of hours surgerys, open on a weekends for routine things, and open till 9pm weekday evenings, absolutely perfect!

I have zero complaints to make about the vets on Halifax rd.http://abbeymoor.ashdownvetservices.co.uk/vebo/index.php?idPage=27

We have been very happy indeed with their services.

I know its possibly s5(but it is literally borderline s6).

It is worlds apart from my previous vets, where it felt like money came before my dogs welfare.

That's how i feel about Peak Vets :hihi:

They've always offered me lots of free advice, including telephoning ME and having a consultation over the phone for free.

Hallam Veterinary Surgery along Crookes road is very good, small but friendly. My dog has been going there since he was 8 weeks and he's very happy.
