retired   10 #16 Posted September 9, 2013 I know of an Asian friend who wanted me to go into partnership with him into a rented property venture. I asked what it involved and it was coverting houses into bedsits and putting ex-cons and asylum seekers in. You get £90 a week per room, easy money.  I declined straight away but I did say what about the neighbours and the lowering of house values in the street by putting undesirables in, not my street he said, sod the neighbours think about the money you are raking in!  Not quite my cup of tea.
