Camping sites in Derbyshire

Hi does anyone know of a good camping site(for a tent) in Derbyshire ?? Have recently purchased a tent and was wanting to try it out locally before going further afield

Fieldhead Edale. Nice noise free site and dead easy access by train.

There's also Coopers across the road if you fancy something more relaxed.

If you decide on Fieldhead and you'll be driving there bwe sure to phone and reserve a parking spot, they are few and far between, that's why i take the train.

I can recommend The Miner's Standard in Winster. £5 per adult per night and good food should you choose to eat in the pub, a short walk from the lovely village too

good clean site free toilets £1 showers

and to camp without elec is £6 a night

Charging for showers in this day and age is scandalous, id never go to a site where it isnt included in the price
