I am seriously naffed off right now

No its not E rostering , it is just annual leave unfortunately .

I know it sounds funny , not taking a team when we are in charge on a late , but we try & do this so the person in charge does not get broken off caring for patients by ward rounds which happen between 4 & 6 . It doesn't happen all the time , but we do try .

It is not playing the race card , these girls are my friends & I love them to bits but it is annoying when more than 1 have 4 weeks off & I tell them that as well . But they still are naughty & do it .

 

Then it must be your Ward Manager at fault who has allowed 3 senior staff to be on annual leave at the same time and left the ward 'unsafe' in your opinion.

Speak to your Ward Manager in the first instance and then Datix the incident voicing your concerns about understaffing.

It will make you unpopular but you have a duty of care to your patients to ensure their safety.
