Alcoblog Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 If you buy a full sheet (2400 by 1200) of 1mm softwood from a veneered door manufacturer, cut it up into eighteen pieces and glue it all together (changing grain direction alternatively), you'll end up with a piece of 18mm thick ply that's 400mm by 400mm.
