Consultant psychiatrist specialising in geriatric medicine (dementia)

Does anyone know of a consultant psychiatrist who specialises in geriatric medicine (dementia), or where one might find one who would be prepared to review some medical records (GP / Hospital / Care provider) and give an opinion as to whether or not the persons notes indicated they were suffering from dementia? (the person is now deceased)

 

It's a long story, so I won't go into detail.

It's difficult to diagnose conclusively believe it or not and is often done at a memory clinic, where the symptons where possible are treated. Without sounding too ghoulish, the only 100% way it can be confirmed is via an autopsy.

Ah....well the deceased person was cremated, so there's not much chance of that. Plus it would only indicate that it was the condition upon death. Mind you, a lot depends on the progressiveness of the illness, cos it doesn't come on, overnight, I know that much!
