Waldo
Just browsing on an iPad (safari), have done a few Google searches and browsed the results... Now, in SF, the adverts are showing me the specific things I have just been searching and looking at. Obv. I have been tracked, and ad choices (who I believe run the ads on this side) are serving me specific ads, based on my browser and/or search history. How can I stop that? I do not consent to being snooped on, and companies collecting such data.
Marx
There are some settings deep, deep within Google. I went there once.

It will open a hidden app on the iPad that'll allow you to opt out of interest based adds. This is only for iAds, if adds are provided by other means then it'll have no effect on them.
